Let’s Get Started On Your Journey Back to Health

Lynn Weber: “Health happens from the inside out. It’s that simple. Cells have to be healthy for the body to be healthy! There are so many things that happen within our bodies that we cannot see. That is why testing is so important. Going deep enough to get to the root of the cause it as the very core of functional health. “

What is Functional Medicine?

Wholestic Nutrition

Welcome to Wholestic Nutrition and congratulations on taking this important step to optimal health! We are honored to be part of your healing journey. Caring for and maintaining the body’s health is an act of integrating healing modalities, not separating them. We harness the power of functional medicine to heal the unified system of your body. As a Functional Medicine practice, we work with you to identify and address the root causes of your health symptoms so that you can reach your wellness goals.
The concept of “functional medicine” springs from the idea that healing is an act of integration, not separation.

Our practice is unique in the Functional Medicine space because of our boutique approach. Instead of addressing different symptoms across separate areas, functional medicine seeks to address the common issues that affect the unified system of your body.

Since the founding of his practice, Dr. Sentissi and our team have helped clients heal from a variety of challenging health concerns.

No matter where you are in your healing journey, we’ll make sure we do everything in our power to find effective solutions that will empower your lifelong health.

Lynn Weber, CFMC

A daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a Christian and a passionate leader of functional health. After struggling to find solutions to her own health concerns and feeling deceived by traditional medicine, Lynn sought alternative options. Facing anxiety over the possibility of dealing with hereditary heart issues, she pleaded with her doctor to dig deeper, but he insisted that she was doing everything she could. Lynn wasn’t convinced.

As a young mother of two, Lynn had too much at stake and wasn’t willing to risk not being around for her husband and children. The thought of not seeing her children grow up and celebrating their achievements, was devastating.

Lynn sought out other health care providers, searching for more answers and asking for additional testing. None were willing. What Lynn didn’t realize was that they all came from the same “school” using the same “standard of care” protocols. The best she could do was use her own judgment, eating what she thought was “healthy” and practicing a regular fitness program.

Lynn feels fortunate that through this part of her life, what she did was enough, but she was not at all content.

In 2013, shortly after moving to Indiana, Lynn began her studies as a health coach at IIN, searching for the unknown. There she discovered a whole new way of thinking, one that suggested that our genes are not our destiny; that we eat, and our daily surrounding play a bigger role in our health than our genetics. This concept is known as epigenetics. With this understanding, health took on a completely different picture for Lynn, creating a hope that was lost. But now, where to begin?!!

Lynn began a new journey, digging for the deep triggers of what could potentially lead to heart disease. What she uncovered over the next 8 years is what she now teaches in her coaching practice.

In 2013, Lynn founded Life in Focus. She believes that “health is your biggest asset” and “prevention is the key”. She wanted to share what she had to discover the hard way…that prevention is possible. She wanted to open the door for others to find resolution to their health concerns, with the understanding that they could take an active role, creating better outcomes and a feeling of hope.

Lynn’s mission is to provide solutions to EVERYONE searching for the highest level of health. Since 2014, Lynn has worked with other functional medicine practitioners, while still maintaining her own business. She has found that each practitioner provides a different approach and, while achieving some level of success, feels there are elements missing.

Health happens from the inside out. It’s that simple. Cells have to be healthy for the body to be healthy! There are so many things that happen within our bodies that we cannot see. That is why testing is so important. Going deep enough to get to the root of the cause it as the very core of functional health. This is what Dr. Sentissi is so exceptional at and why Lynn is excited to be part of his team.

It was only recently that Lynn was introduced to Dr. Sentissi, but both being graduates of IIN created an immediate connection. There are many other ways that they parallel, sharing interests, teachings experiences.

“Working with Dr. Sentissi just feels like where I belong”. I’m thrilled to be here and excited to help his patients achieve their optimal health.

Our Principles As A Functional Medicine Practitioner

OUR-TEAM-1
  • Practitioners prioritize quality over quantity with their clients. A practitioner will only make recommendations after listening carefully to a client’s history, documenting their personal choices and health history.
  • Assessment and prevention are prioritized over wait-and-see approaches.
  • Prioritization is placed on utilizing the most modern and advanced assessment and healing modalities available.
  • Clients are not made to feel that they have taken a passive role in their own health. Instead, they are to be armed with information and encouraged to take an active role in improving how they feel.

We offer multiple programs to assist you on your healing journey

Wholestic Nutrition’s Customized Programs are designed to address the root cause of your symptoms and understand the underlying mechanism of your condition.

Every program begins with a 90-minute new client session and thorough health history evaluation.
Unlike your typical healthcare appointment which usually lasts only 7-10 minutes, this one and a half hour initial session allows us to go deep into your health history, lifestyle, health concerns, goals and expectations.

From there, your practitioner will recommend the appropriate assessment tests and begin crafting a customized wellness program to address your unique health concerns.

Some of the most common include:
